Aligning Your Purpose Leads To A Fulfilling Life

During this past week's Sacred Sunday class I spoke to the emotion that's prevalent in the late summer, which is self-doubt.

The reason the emotions of doubt and worry come up this time of year is because the same energetic frequency arises when the spleen and stomach chi (energy), which are in high tide in the late summer, are out of balance.

Chi energy is very subtle. It informs us through our emotions and physical symptoms. It tells us either we're in balance, when we're feeling grounded and harmonious, or that we're out of balance, which results in worry and doubt.

The physical manifestation is the last to arise, and if we haven't tended to the energy flow of the stomach and spleen, it can show up as a more serious issue, such as an ulcer.

After Sunday's class a student came up to me and told me how she had been debilitated by doubt for most of her adult life, and not until she took the Yoga Teacher Training course did she finally get over it.

She let me know that the chakra manifestation work allowed her to see the old, outdated belief of 'not being good enough' and is now overruled by her newfound confidence that the training provided her.

Now she is doing what she has been wanting to do her whole life, to help troubled children. She is a social worker and uses yoga, breathing and guided meditation with children to help them regulate the nervous system so they can learn and excel in school.

One of the most powerful aspects of the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is to observe our patterns and habits without judgment. The power of non-judgmental observation changes how we relate to our behaviors and thought processes.

Shining the light of observation on our patterns allows us to make different choices, and this is practiced repeatedly throughout the daily meditations cultivated in the workshop and training.

So many of our limiting beliefs are from old childhood conditioning, and need updating, so we're not at their mercy. They can wreak havoc on our confidence, relationships, and purpose in life!

That's why a common takeaway from the Yoga Teacher Training and Destiny Alignment workshop is how students have improved their relationships and helped to align lives with their soul purpose. Two of the most important aspects to living a fulfilling life!

From my heart to yours~

Namaste,

Maggie
